Those in love often see the world differently and slightly off center.

*~Title Accreds fully go to my fellow Blogger: Josh Sinclair ~*~

I guess being on cloud nine...or being in love because they oftenly equate has it's pros and cons. When your in love, pain feels different, pain looks different, and sometimes pain can only be overcame by the person you are in love with.

Whether it's :

Eros

Eros is probably what most people mean when they announce with a smile, "I'm in love." This type of love covers everything from queasy stomachs and warm fuzzy feelings to strong sensual passion.

Philia

We recognize philia and its meaning from the name Philadelphia, that is, the city of brotherly love. This is the love of friendship, best friends, and the fellowship of being with those people you enjoy.

The Beauty of Agape*

Unlike the previous two types of love, agape is not limited to being held hostage by its environment and someone's perception. The reason why agape can soar above these is because it is based upon the commitment of a decision. It entails the decision to proactively seek someone's well-being. Since it is not a knee jerk reaction nor just a responsive feeling to how I've been treated, agape is capable of acting in a hostile environment where there are no warm fuzzy feelings.

That feeling of pure love can be addicting, and you look and feel the world a lot more differently...more in a fanatically unreal manner. Love can make the immaterial seem immaterial. Love has a funny silent killer tone to it because once it hits you, you don't know how to react.

You start to think of things like "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine."
Love is love's rewards. Love takes off masks that we fear we cannot live without and know we cannot live within. What brings joy to the heart is not so much the friend's gift as the friend's love.

And so on and so forth. Why does love take a toll on us, when we can't take a toll on love?
After all, it's a man made feeling...we can only create it and let it exist...but of all forms of emotion and expression, love is thee least common.
Why is that? Is it because we are afraid to fall...it's always been said that "You should never fall for someone who can catch you." But in reality, when you fall...the hardest part isn't hitting floor, but it's learning to get up.

Idk why, but I do indeed think WAAAAAAY TO MUCH.

  1. More people should think more. Reading and knowing about things like this help you to explore yourself and help you improve. People wouldn't have to find out the hard way as often as they do. Great post. Any kind of love is okay with me can't afford to discriminate in this world lol
